Cookie Policy

The short version

Before you choose, the only cookie we set is the first-party cookie cookie-consent. It stores accepted or declined (the same value is also saved in localStorage) so the banner does not return. It lasts one year, is SameSite=Lax, and is marked Secure. It does not contain an account id.

If you click Accept, the page loads Google Tag Manager (GTM-KVDBP9BD) and Google Analytics 4 (G-JRBNQHY8TS) from googletagmanager.com. Google then sets analytics cookies, including _ga and _ga_*, to tell browsers apart and keep a session. Decline does not load those scripts, and those cookies are not set.

Cookies we use

• cookie-consent — essential, first-party. Your Accept or Decline choice. One year.
• _ga and _ga_* — analytics, set by Google Analytics 4 only after you click Accept. Google keeps them for up to two years.

What we do not use

• No advertising cookies. No Facebook Pixel, no ad-network cookies.
• No analytics cookies unless you click Accept.
• No cross-site tracking or fingerprinting by LeanForge.

Google Fonts

The site loads Inter and JetBrains Mono from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Your browser contacts Google for those files before you accept or decline. That request is not a cookie we set. The privacy policy lists Google as a processor for fonts and, after Accept, for analytics.

Change your mind

You can clear the cookie-consent cookie (or localStorage entry) at any time, or use Cookie Settings in the footer. The banner will reappear on your next visit so you can re-choose. Clearing the consent cookie does not delete cookies Google already set; remove those in your browser.

Browser controls

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the consent cookie will cause the banner to reappear on every visit but will not affect core functionality of the site.
